In the summer time, we tend to lean towards fashion pieces that are light and delicate. This season presents us with the opportunity to demonstrate our character or personality through our clothing. This allows us to experiment with prints and styles that we might not normally  wear.  The Devil Wears Prada is pretty accurate in demonstrating the fashion industry in its truest form, and florals are no different. This week, I  decided to give my best take on  the floral print, a fashion staple that many of you probably have in your wardrobe.

Featured Fave of the Week: Billboard Music Awards

Tonight, The BBMA’s  will showcase the best in the music industry this year. I’m looking forward to performances by Rihanna and DNCE specifically.  The fashion at the awards show never disappoints either, and I’m excited to see what the artists and guests decide to wear.

And with that, two looks this week! I hope that you all enjoy.

Look 1:

Blouse: Hollister

Shorts: Kohl’s

Sunglasses: Forever 21

(Check out similar ones here:http://www.forever21.com/Product/Category.aspx?category=acc_glasses)

Shoes: Ked’s

Look 2:

Romper: Target

Necklace: Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s

Sandals: Vintage

I’m curious:

What are your featured faves of the week?

How many of you have seen The Devil Wears Prada?  (Totally judging those who haven’t)

Who is watching the BBMA’s tonight? Leave a line below!
